Sam 311 Advanced Sanskrit Grammar – This course is open to those who have either taken the basic Sam
112 and Sam 211 or with prior knowledge of the subject with the approval of the Instructor. This is an
advanced Sanskrit Grammar using Scientific methods to understand the पाणिनी व्याकरणम् .
The course is a 300 level 4 Credit, one Semester course with regular homework assignments, quizzes
midterms and finals

This is a third level course and requires basic Knowledge Sanskrit Grammar (Eg Sam 112) and applications (eg. Sam 211) is essential.

A review of Sanskrit Grammar will be provided during the
early review classes.
