Description:

Advanced Kathak

This class is designed for experienced Kathak dancers with a strong foundation in technique, rhythm (tala), and storytelling (abhinaya). Dancers at this level will refine their precision in footwork, spins, and complex rhythmic patterns, while also exploring advanced compositions. Emphasis will be placed on stage presence, stamina, and performance quality, helping dancers embody both the technical rigor and grace of Kathak. Students will also learn traditional repertoire and explore how classical artistry can be applied in contemporary presentations.

What’s Included:

  • 2026 Moksha Arts T-Shirt
  • Training in Kathak dance foundations, performance skills, and confidence-building
  • Semester-end dancer-only showcase on Thursday, December 11th @ 5pm (for Moksha Arts dancers only)
