A note on dakshina: Dakṣiṇā is not a payment for a religious service; it is a sacred offering made with devotion and gratitude to the Archaka who serves Bhagavan on behalf of the devotees.

Our scriptures teach that every puja, homa, or saṁskāra attains completeness when accompanied by dakṣiṇā offered with faith (śraddhā) and according to one's capacity (yathā śakti).

To help devotees who may be unsure of an appropriate amount, the Temple Committee suggests offering dakṣiṇā of approximately 20–25% of the seva sponsorship amount as a voluntary guideline. This is only a recommendation and not a requirement. Devotees are welcome to offer more or less according to their faith, devotion, and ability.
